Ventura IT Solutions and HostBandit.com

Ventura IT Solutions personally ripped me off. And for what? $12, what a joke. Listen to this. I was going to have a website hosted by them at HostBandit.com. I planned on having a Google Blogger blog synced with the site being hosted by them. In order to do this, I needed a DNS CNAME record added that would point a sub-domain to the Google Blogger site. They refused to do this for me. They offered a 5 day satisfaction guarantee so I asked for a refund. They sent me a form that they said I needed to fill out, with my personal information, then copy a government issued photo ID and mail both the form and a copy of my ID to their P.O. Box. Here's the kicker. Not only do I have 3 days to mail this to them, but according to their Terms of Service, which I never agreed to (they just have a link to it on their website, at no point did I actually agree to their TOS) I MUST mail it via NON-signature required USPS mail. And of course they're not responsible for lost mail. So you tell me. Is this an unethical business or what? I even asked them to explain to me the justification in mailing them a form and a copy of my ID for a refund of an online service, to which they never answered of course.

They offer other web services besides web hosting and obviously they don't deserve to get business from anyone, for anything. They ultimately tried to get me to send the form and a copy of my ID to them by enticing me with offers they were not going to live up to. They offered free search engine optimization, free web hosting, even $100 if I send them the form and ID, which obviously would never get there on time unless I paid for 1-2 day delivery, but... for $12??. At the bottom of these offers it said, "legal notice/terms of service agreement: this email is not a contract, agreement, or promise to provide services, this email is private and confidential and may not be copied, retransmitted, or reproduced in any form" ... These guys seriously think they're smart. We'll see what the Better Business Bureau and the Internet Crime Complaint Center think. Complaints pending. PayPal denied my claim as they only help with shipped goods, keep that in mind when doing business with a service provider that uses PayPal payments. Buyer beware, Ventura IT Solutions is a lazy unethical bunch of scammers posing as a business. I know times are tough but it must be really rough for them if they are scamming people out of $12. I feel bad for them, really I do.

Also note, they claimed in their PayPal rebuttal that 99% of web hosts won't do a CNAME record for clients. I found a company to do this for me with no problem. In fact it was the next host that I looked at. Seriously, why would GOOGLE Blogger even offer such a thing if 99% of web hosts don't offer this? They also suggested I be banned from PayPal, hahaha. They also lied and said I e-mailed them with threats of spamming negative things about their business when all I said is if I didn't get my refund I will start an internet campaign that badly reviews their business. Never did I mention SPAM. I only use legit marketing tactics. I wrote more about this at Squidoo lens called Ventura IT Solutions Scam. The host I decided to go with is easily the best host on the internet, seriously, they only cost $1 a month and have the best customer service in the business.

(iFreeOnlineCash.com, CashForOpinions.net, EmailProspects.net, ProTraderInc.com, CreditHelper101.com, Select-Traffic.com, ACSolutions.org, Invest4Free.com, REPORT MORE OF THEIR SCAM SITES TO ME!)

The ACS Group has been scamming people for years. They probably go by a different name now but the culprit is basically an international fraud. Last known location was Amsterdam but he could be anywhere. This guy FALSELY places a BBB Online Reliability logo on his sites which throws some people off. He also offers a very generous guarantee so watch out.

If you've been ripped off by them, BE SURE And file a complaint with the FTC since he operates internationally: econsumer.gov. By Filing a complaint at econsumer.gov, you will be helping out anyone else who has been scammed.
